Todd Mortenson is an accomplished entrepreneur and business executive with enthusiasm for launching ventures and strategic planning.

Mr. Mortenson currently serves as CEO for AppNRG, and on the boards of several ventures and non-profits and advises more. Todd’s experience spans multiple industries with his personal niche being an expert of the launch.

Several career highlights include joining an entrepreneurial group of Real Estate Developers to acquire the Reno Hilton (145 acre / 2000 room / 2500 employee resort), while leading the Real Estate sales and marketing division to achieve over $125 million in sales in less than 9 months; as well as joining an early stage Oil & Gas exploration company as President where He developed the business plan, acquired 340,000 acres of drilling rights in the country of Belize, and hired a team of industry veterans to commence exploration.

Todd received his MBA with a concentration in Venture Management from the University of St. Thomas (Minneapolis, MN). While there he served as a business plan analyst for the Minnesota Seed Capital Network. In 2004, Todd was invited to be a delegate and represent the US in the first Franco-American Entrepreneur’s forum in Paris, France.

While launching businesses, he continues to serve his community. For over 8 years he has volunteered to the fund distribution panel for The Greater Twin Cities United Way, reviewing the plans and operations of non-profit agencies seeking funding.

His first career was an airline pilot. Todd completed his Bachelor of Science: Aeronautical Studies degree in only 3 ½ years from UND. Upon Graduation, Todd was chosen to pilot for the passenger airline, United Express. When selected he only had 280 hours of total flight time and has over 2000 flight hours to date.
